Humans have always amazed about the night sky showing many twinkling stars. More they explored and found out about it ,more they were astonished.

Planets
Some of the twinkling objects are planets, identified from their daily change in position as compared to the other stars. ex. Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Mercury, Pluto, and the Earth.
Moon– Some planets have moons, just like what our Earth has. The other planet’s moons can be visible by using telescope. Ex. Jupiter has 79 moons.
Stars
There are millions of stars which appear from different galaxies, we used our imagination to co-relate the living things to the figure drawn by connection the stars and named them in various constellations. Ex. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpius, Sagittarius, Capricorns, Aquarius and Pisces.

Galaxies- Milky way is the name of our galaxy, and the near by galaxy to us is Andromeda galaxy. From the Hubble telescope it is found out that there are a million+ galaxies in the universe, and they are expanding at an accelerated rate. Many stars we see in the sky are part of the galaxies.
Asteroids
Asteroids are larger objects. Theyappear once in a while, when they are attracted towards the Sun due to its gravitational field. Their elliptical orbit can be millions of kilometers. They appear periodically and can be predictable based on the orbits. Some of such asteroids areCeres, vista
Meteroids
These are smaller objects than the asteroids, they also appear occasionally. Some of them are Agen, Aarhus.

Comets
Comets are made up of ice, rock and dust. They orbit around the Sun, if attracted towards it. There period of appearance is also several years. ExHalley’s Comet, Holmes.
